Tyson won't "beg" for visa

Former world boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is hoping to get a visa to New Zealand for a motivational speaking tour. He is booked for a trip in November but New Zealand  law states that anyone that has been convicted of any offense that carries a prison sentence of five or more years will not be granted a visa. Since Tyson was convicted of rape in 1992 and served three years of a six year sentence.
