In Idaho a nonresident archery hunter was attacked but not seriosly injured by a grizzly bear. Him and his friend were following the blood trail an elk that they had shot when the bear attacked them. Unfortunately they were not carrying any firearms or bear spray. As a result the department of game in fish sent out a letter about how to safely hunt in grizzly country.
