The Boys & Girls Club of Rusk County is calling in a few reinforcements to help them with their latest fundraiser: some heavy-duty reinforcements.
Former NFL fullback Larry Centers, originally from Tatum, will host a celebrity golf tournament at Wood Hollow Country Club in Longview on Monday, Oct. 8. Centers will be joined by several famous guests, including former NBA standout Spud Webb; former Harlem Globetrotter Reggie “Air Man” Dixon; former NFL cornerback Ray Mickens; former NFL defensive tackle Willie Broughton; and Jerald Sowell, the former NFL fullback who suited up for the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
