On Facebook, Men are Cheap

More than half of the users on facebook are female. But the ads seem to affect the males more than the female. 60 percent of the click volume, and has a 58 percent impression volume. Compared to females who only have a 48 percent click volume and a 42 percent impression volume. Females use Facebook to keep existing relationships going, while the males use Facebook to make new relationships. Last year advertisers spent $4 billion dollars, 53 percent of thier budget was targeting men.
